​​​​​​​International Day is a true highlight of the calendar at Birkenhead College. It is a time where school spirit is high and all of our many nationalities and backgrounds are celebrated and cherished. Our special day starts with a whole school assembly, where everyone is encouraged to take part in our International Parade so that we acknowledge every nation represented by their costume. 

The International Day Food Stalls are another highlight, with many students preparing and cooking their national dishes. This gives all of our students the chance to sample cuisine from other countries and to promote their own favourites.

To conclude this exciting day is the International Concert, a production of national dance, song and custom which might include everything from K-Pop to Scottish Dance, Tinikling to Kapa Haka.
