​​​​​​​Being a Student Librarian at Birkenhead College allows students to take on extra responsibilities, work as a team and promote the library and reading in general. The role starts with training in all areas necessary and students are encouraged to work their way through three levels of knowledge and training.

Student Librarians also have an option to contribute to International Day, Open Evenings, book giveaways, chess competitions and more as part of the larger library team. Student Librarians will be guided to contribute in ways that fit their own personal interests and skills.
