Book Day is Birkenhead College's celebration of all things bookish! It is a chance for the whole school to celebrate books and literature through costumes and competitions.
This year, there were some amazing efforts with character costumes, and Bailey Watkins took out the top prize for his interpretation of DC Comics supervillain, Two-Face. Bailey also teamed up with Liam Van der Merwe to win the Guess the Teachers’ Costumes competition. There were other events running on the day, like the Quotable Quotes competition and the Literary Kahoot, and 9AN and 10BY were voted as having made particularly strong efforts to get dressed up and get involved.
